A warm welcome From The Kids Coach – it’s great you’ve found me!
As a parent you know that situations can crop up and you are not always sure how to help your children get through it. I am here to help you get through these kinds of situations, as a family, and address all the issues and concerns they may face.
Have you ever wondered how to help your child how to be more confident, or dealing with bullying, low-self esteem or friendship issues? Many parents and children talk with me about the following:
- Social media and peer pressure.
- Key life-skills like communication, resilience, responsibility, being positive and successfully managing change, are all real concerns for both children and adults alike.
- Improved family relationships and communication.
- Attitude or behaviour at home.
- Handling their emotions which causes them stress, prevents them from coping, or being successful in their daily life.
- It could even be learning to like who they are and seeing the world in a more optimistic way.
As the Kids Coach, I support children and parents to overcome their own worries and be more successful in managing the situation at hand, in a friendly, safe, creative and fun way.
I help children, parents and the family unit in the following ways:
- Supporting you and your children to find solutions to situations and ways to move forward – away from worries and problems.
- Enabling children and parents to know what to say or do in situations like bullying, peer pressure and friendships.
- Learning new life skills.
- Developing a positive, proactive and problem-solving approach to situations.
Have you or your family ever faced some of the issues above and wanted to know how to handle them? Why not give me a call, or send me a message. We can spend some time talking about what support you and your family need and how to make that happen. Project spookje is here!
Spookje is my adopted rescue cat – he is a little ball of fluff and mischief. He is often talked about in coaching sessions because he has so many different sides to his personality, gets up to all sorts of things – and he really likes to talk! As such, his adventures and mischief are becoming very well-known! The idea behind the v-logs is that they act as a starting point, or a resource, for parents to show or use with their children to talk about the issues involved.

How Does it Work?
Thinking of ideas and taking action that works for us, is basically coaching in a nutshell. It allows us to do something about the things that worry us or stop us from being happy. Coaching enables children and adults to come up with their own ideas and solutions to things that are on their mind and give them more control. We can’t change what has already happened, and we can’t always change things around us, yet learning the tools and skills we need to manage how we handle situations can make a big, positive, difference.

Inspired Learning – live an inspired life
Inspired Learning is all about making positive and pro-active changes in order to develop the tools and life skills in order to move forward with greater success and confidence. It’s that wonderful light bulb moment – that feeling when, we suddenly get, we’ve found the answer, we know how to make something work; we have discovered the solution to a problem, or that feeling of success when we have accomplished something important.
Sometimes, you just need to have someone support you in getting to that inspirational moment.
